Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your waffle iron and lightly grease it with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract (if using) until smooth.
  3. Pour about ½ cup of batter onto the preheated waffle iron and close the lid.
  4. Cook according to the waffle maker’s instructions (usually 4-5 minutes) until golden brown and crisp.
  5. Carefully remove the waffle and repeat with the remaining batter.
  6. Serve warm with syrup, butter, fresh fruit, or your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra crispy waffles, let them rest on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
Add cinnamon or nutmeg for a flavorful twist.
Use buttermilk instead of regular milk for a richer taste.
