Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups Powdered Sugar sifted
  • 2 tbsp Butter melted, or vegan butter
  • 2 tbsp Milk or any plant-based milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Sifter (Optional, for smoother icing)

Method
 

  1. Sift the powdered sugar into a mixing bowl for a lump-free glaze.
  2. Add melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the bowl.
  3. Whisk everything together until smooth and glossy.
  4. Adjust consistency with more milk (to thin) or more sugar (to thicken), if needed.
  5. Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls and let it set for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make it your own by adding a splash of maple or almond extract, or even a pinch of cinnamon to tie in those warm roll flavors. This icing also works beautifully over muffins, donuts, or pancakes.
