  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 clove garlic minced (optional)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare the dough
  2. Add flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir well.
  3. Into the twice-the-size bowl as the cottage cheese and olive oil, put all your dry ingredients. Mix until you form a dough.
  4. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour; if it's not coming together and seems very dry, pour in just 1 tsp of water.
  5. Step 2: Add flavor (optional) -- Fold in the chopped herbs and minced garlic, so they permeate throughout.
  6. Step 3: Roll the flatbreads
  7. Cut into 4-6 equal portions and shape the dough.
  8. Roll out each portion into thin, flat circle shape (approximately ¼ inch thick) on a floured surface with the help of rolling pin.
  9. Step 4: Cook the flatbreads
