Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs optional, e.g., parsley or chives
  • 1 clove garlic minced (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the dough
  • Add flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir well.
  • Into the twice-the-size bowl as the cottage cheese and olive oil, put all your dry ingredients. Mix until you form a dough.
  • If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour; if it's not coming together and seems very dry, pour in just 1 tsp of water.
  • Step 2: Add flavor (optional) -- Fold in the chopped herbs and minced garlic, so they permeate throughout.
  • Step 3: Roll the flatbreads
  • Cut into 4-6 equal portions and shape the dough.
  • Roll out each portion into thin, flat circle shape (approximately ¼ inch thick) on a floured surface with the help of rolling pin.
  • Step 4: Cook the flatbreads
  • Preheat a fry panasting putty over substance turn. No need to grease the pan.
  • Cook flatbread for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and cooked through.
  • Using the spatula press down (gently) on top of each flatbread to make sure they cook through, evenly.
