- Make the marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together Italian dressing, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Marinate the chicken: Place the chicken tenders in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
- Preheat grill or skillet: Spray your grill pan or skillet with cooking spray or olive oil. Heat over medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place onto the hot grill pan. Cook for 5–6 minutes per side until nicely charred and cooked through.
- Rest and serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving to retain juices. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, green beans, or a fresh garden salad!
Notes
Want it extra tender? Try pounding the chicken slightly before marinating. Leftovers make great wraps or salads the next day!
