  2. Make the Dumplings: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the beaten egg and milk until a soft dough forms. Drop small spoonfuls (about 1 teaspoon each) into the simmering broth.
  3. Cook the Dumplings: Cover the pot and cook for 10–12 minutes. The dumplings should puff up and become firm when done.
  4. Add the Egg Drop: Slowly drizzle the beaten eggs into the hot broth in a thin stream, stirring gently with a fork or chopstick to create silky ribbons.
  5. Serve: Ladle the soup into bowls. Top with sliced green onions and enjoy hot!
