  • 4 large apples peeled, cored, and sliced

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Cook the Apples: Add the sliced apples to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften (about 5-7 minutes).
