Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Fresh cilantro Chopped and loosely packed
  • 1/2 cup Fresh mint leaves Adds coolness and aroma
  • 2 pieces Green chili Adjust heat to taste
  • 1 small Garlic clove Optional for extra depth
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger Fresh preferred
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice Freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp Water Adjust for desired texture
  • 1/4 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin powder Optional adds warmth
  • 1 tbsp Plain yogurt Optional for creaminess

Equipment

  • 1 Blender or food processor To grind all ingredients into a smooth paste
  • 1 Bowl To store and mix chutney
  • 1 Spoon For tasting and adjusting flavor
  • 1 Airtight jar For storing leftovers in the fridge

Method
 

  1. Rinse cilantro and mint leaves thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Add cilantro, mint, green chili, ginger, garlic, and lime juice to a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, adding water slowly to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust salt or lime as needed.
  5. For a creamy twist, stir in yogurt before serving.
  6. Serve fresh as a dip or drizzle over grilled dishes, wraps, or rice bowls.

Notes

  • Add a few drops of honey for a balanced sweet-spicy flavor.
  • Replace lime with lemon juice if preferred.
