Ingredients
  

  • 1 head Cauliflower Cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cup Sharp cheddar cheese Freshly grated
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Mustard powder Optional adds depth
  • 2 tbsp Cream cheese For extra creaminess
  • ½ tsp Salt Or to taste
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper Or to taste

Equipment

  • 1 Baking dish
  • 1 Medium saucepan
  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Whisk
  • 1 Cheese grater

Method
 

  1. Steam or roast cauliflower until just tender. (Avoid overcooking!) Set aside on a towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat. Add cream cheese, garlic powder, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  4. Combine cauliflower with cheese sauce in a bowl and mix well.
  5. Transfer mixture into baking dish. Top with remaining ½ cup of cheddar and optional crunchy topping.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
