1 Strainer For straining the herbs
1 Jar or Bottle For storing the syrup
- 1 Cup Fresh lemon balm leaves Gently washed
- 1 Cup Water Filtered or distilled

Prepare the Lemon Balm: Wash the lemon balm leaves thoroughly. Lightly bruise them with your fingers to help release their natural oils.
Simmer the Lemon Balm: In a small saucepan, combine the lemon balm leaves and water. Bring it to a simmer over medium heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Cool and Store: Allow the syrup to cool before transferring it to a jar or bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Serve and Enjoy: Drizzle the syrup over your favorite dishes, stir it into warm teas, or use it as a natural sweetener in beverages and desserts.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey, depending on your preference.
- This syrup can also be used as a soothing remedy for sore throats when mixed with warm water.
- For an extra twist, try adding a cinnamon stick or lemon zest during the simmering process.
