Ingredients
  

  • 1 Handful Fresh lemon balm leaves - Gently washed
  • 1 Liter Filtered water Cold or room temperature
  • 1 Medium Lemon Sliced optional
  • 4-5 Ice cubes Optional for a chilled drink

  • 1 Wooden Spoon To stir the ingredients
  • 1 Strainer (optional) If you prefer clear water without leaves

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Lemon Balm: Gently wash the lemon balm leaves under running water. Lightly bruise them with your fingers to release their natural oils.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, add the lemon balm leaves, filtered water, and lemon slices if using.
  3. Infuse: Let the mixture sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate for a longer infusion (up to 12 hours for stronger flavor).
  4. Serve: Add ice cubes if desired and stir gently. Strain before serving if you prefer clear water.
  5. Enjoy!: Serve in glasses and enjoy this refreshing, herbal-infused water.
