Method
- Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- Evenly spread the lemon pie filling over the bottom of the baking dish.
- Combine it in a separate bowl with water and stir until well combined. Add this to the lemon pie filling in the dish.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10-15 minutes, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can substitute sweetened condensed milk for the water.
