  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken:
  1. Set your oven to 375O F (190O C) and preheat it.
  2. For even cooking, pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
Sear the Chicken:
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden. Place the chicken in a baking dish.
Make the Parmesan Crust:
  1. Spoon Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter and parsley into a small bowl. Mix until crumbly. This mixture is evenly spread over the chicken breasts.
Bake the Chicken:
  1. Then, turn on your oven and let the dish bake for 20-25 minutes or until its internal temperature hits 165°F (74°C).
Prepare the Cream Sauce:
  1. Add butter to the same skillet and melt over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, ~1 min.
  2. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, continuing to whisk. Add grated Parmesan cheese and simmer until the sauce thickens 3 to 5 minutes. Add lemon juice to taste, if desired.
Assemble the Dish:
  1. Spoon the cream sauce over the cooked chicken or serve it alongside. Garnish with fresh parsley.
