Ingredients
  

  • 200 g macaroni cooked al dente
  • 250 g beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 onion thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 bell pepper any color sliced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 tsp sugar optional
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • Green onions chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook the macaroni: Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add macaroni and cook until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the beef: In a bowl, combine beef slices with 1 tablespoon soy sauce, black pepper, and half the minced garlic. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Stir-fry the vegetables: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions, carrots, bell peppers, and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly soft. Remove and set aside.
  4. Sear the beef: In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 2–3 minutes.
  5. Combine everything: Add macaroni and vegetables back into the skillet with beef. Stir in the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and rest of garlic. Mix well and stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes.
  6. Finish and garnish: Taste and adjust seasoning. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use ground beef instead of slices for a shortcut version.
  • Add mushrooms or broccoli for extra veggies.
  • Use whole wheat macaroni for more fiber and better blood sugar control.
