- Main:
- 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sauce:
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Garnish Optional:
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
Sear the Pork Chops:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the pork chops and sear for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce:
Add in the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce and sour cream.
Whisk the mixture until smooth and bubbling.
Simmer the Pork Chops:
Add the pork chops back to the skillet so they're coated with the sauce.
Lower the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes or until the pork chops are tender.
Use bone-in pork chops for extra flavor and juiciness.
To prevent the sour cream from curdling, add it off the heat and stir it in gently.

If you prefer a thicker sauce, let it simmer uncovered for the last 5 minutes.
