Prepare the Chicken Patties:
- In a mixing bowl, mix together ground chicken, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Mix to combine and form into 4 oval patties.
Cook the Patties:
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Sear the patties until golden brown on each side, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Make the Gravy:
- Add butter to the same skillet and sauté onions and mushrooms for 3-4 minutes.
- Add beef broth, Worcestershire, and tomato paste; stir to combine.
- Combine cornstarch with water to create a slurry, then slowly whisk it into the gravy.
Simmer and Serve:
- Add the patties back to the skillet and let them simmer in the gravy for 10 minutes.
- Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika to the chicken mixture.
