Ingredients
  

  • Smoothie Base:
  • 2 ripe pears cored and sliced
  • 1 cup yogurt Greek or regular or coconut milk
  • ½ cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional, for extra sweetness
  • Warm Spices:
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of nutmeg optional
  • Texture Boosters Optional:
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • ½ cup ice for a thicker, colder smoothie

Method
 

  1. Add the sliced pears, yogurt or coconut milk, and almond milk into the blender.
  2. Sprinkle in the cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, and nutmeg.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup if your pears aren’t fully ripe or sweet enough.
  4. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy — 30 to 45 seconds.
  5. Adjust thickness with more milk (thinner) or ice (thicker).
  6. Pour into glasses and let sit for 5 minutes to allow the spices to bloom.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use frozen pear slices for a creamier, milkshake-like texture.
  • Add extra cinnamon for a stronger fall flavor.
  • Replace yogurt with coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
