- Prepare the Sushi Rice: Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions, then season with rice vinegar, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Set aside to cool.
- Prepare the Topping: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded imitation crab, mayonnaise, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha (if using). Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Assemble the Sushi Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread the cooled sushi rice evenly in the bottom of a baking dish. Layer the crab mixture over the rice, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds, sliced green onions, furikake, and shredded nori for garnish. Serve warm with soy sauce on the side.
