- In a large bowl or pitcher, muddle the watermelon, lime wedges, sugar, and mint leaves until the juices are released and the mixture becomes fragrant.
- (Optional) Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother drink.
- Pour the mixture evenly into 4 glasses filled with ice.
- Top with sparkling water (or club soda) and stir gently.
- Add a splash of white rum if you're making it boozy.
- Garnish with extra mint and a small watermelon wedge on the rim. Serve immediately!
