- Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and cut the chicken into serving pieces. Slice the vegetables and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onions until fragrant.
- Brown the Chicken: Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned on all sides.
- Simmer the Stew: Pour in tomato sauce, chicken broth, and liver spread. Stir well, cover, and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Add Vegetables: Add carrots, potatoes, and bell peppers. Stir and continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
- Season: Add soy sauce, sugar (if using), chili flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for another 10 minutes.

Notes
For a spicier version, add more chili flakes or fresh chili peppers.
You can substitute liver spread with peanut butter for a different flavor twist.
