  • 2 lbs russet potatoes peeled and chopped
  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt full-fat or low-fat
  • ¼ cup warm milk more if needed
  • 2 tbsp butter optional
  • ½ tsp garlic powder optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15–20 minutes).
  • Drain and return to pot or place in a mixing bowl.
  • Add Greek yogurt, warm milk, and butter (if using). Mash until smooth.
  • Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Adjust texture with extra milk if needed.
  • Garnish with chives and serve warm.
