Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Spread the pecan pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the pie filling.
- Evenly distribute the yellow cake mix across the entire surface; do not stir!
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix. Try to cover as much dry mix as possible.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar, if using, for extra depth.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
