  • 1 Mixing bowl For whisking eggs
  • 1 Whisk or fork To mix wet ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can pecan pie filling or 1½ cups homemade
  • 1 cup chopped pecans toasted for extra crunch
  • 1 box yellow cake mix classic base
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon optional adds warmth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar optional for added caramelization

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Spread the pecan pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  • Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the pie filling.
  • Evenly distribute the yellow cake mix across the entire surface; do not stir!
  • Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix. Try to cover as much dry mix as possible.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar, if using, for extra depth.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
