- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the Oven to 175°C (350°F). Prep an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy release.
- Melt the Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Mix the Batter: The only difference you will make for the filling is to whisk the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture and whisk until blended.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift the flour and salt together. Fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture in batches until just combined.
- Prepare the Tahini Swirl: In a small bowl, whisk the tahini and powdered sugar until smooth. If necessary, add 1-2 tbsp of milk or water to achieve a drizzle-like consistency.
- Assemble the Brownies: Spoon brownie batter into a prepared pan and spread it to an even layer. Drizzle the tahini mixture on top and, using a skewer or knife, make beautiful swirls.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated Oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out with a few moist crumbs. You want to avoid baking them the entire way through, so they stay fudgy.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan, then cut into squares. Serve and enjoy!
