Ingredients
  

  • For the Pickled Vegetables:
  • 1/2 cup carrots julienned
  • 1/2 cup daikon radish julienned

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • For the Sandwich:
  • 4 baguette rolls or a French baguette, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1/2 lb pork tenderloin or chicken sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cucumber thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • Fresh jalapeño slices optional
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sriracha or hot sauce optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the pickled vegetables: In a small bowl, combine vinegar water sugar salt Turn the rice in bottom to top. Throw in the carrots and daikon. While you prep the rest of your sandwich components, let them marinate.
